Antilla at Gallery Bookshop

 Local author Shelley Antilla will be at Gallery Bookshop this Friday, Jan 15 at 6:30 p.m. to talk about her new book, "Photographers' Vintage Treasures and the People Who Wore Them: Early Photography & Memoirs from Mendocino County."

Through a collection of photographs from a pioneer Mendocino County family, Antilla takes readers on a discover tour of vintage fashion and local history.

Three Antilla Booksignings at Wild Wonderful King Vintage Museum

Author Shelley Antilla will be at the Wild Wonderful King Vintage Museum on two days March 20 at 1-3:00 and 6:30-8:30 pm and March 21, 2-4:00 pm for three separate booksignings for her new book, "Photographers' Vintage Treasures and the People Who Wore Them: Early Photography & Memoirs from Mendocino County (and Vintage Clothing Price Guide)."

Some of the vintage hat collection shown in the vintage clothing price guide has been donated and is on display at the King museum. The provenance and background information regarding the clothing items and hats is interesting. Events held concurrently during the days shown above are: "Civil War Living History" at the Oakhurst Community Park by the National Civil War Association, the Museum and the Chamber of Commerce; an Education Day for students, and the Oakhurst Community Band Spring Concert.  For information call the Museum bookstore at 559-658-6999.

WILLITS, CA-WILLITS FRONTIER DAYS BOOKSIGNING Events July 3-4

A number of exciting events have been planned in the Willits area for July 3-4-5th in celebration of their annual Frontier Days celebration.  Starting with the carnival "being in town" on to the parade, rodeo, bar-b-que, car show, and dance, there is a lot on the calendar.  A new feature this year is there will be a Willits Union High School lst Annual Alumni Family Picnic at the high school starting at 11:30 am. Shelley Antilla is planning on attending.

Author Shelley Antilla will further be at the Mendocino County Library, Willits Branch, adjacent to the Willits Museum, for a booksigning of her new  book,  "Photographers' Vintage Treasures and the People Who Wore Them (and Vintage Clothing Price Guide)," on July 3rd, 3:00-5:00 pm.   A small discussion on how her book came about, plus time for Q/A, refreshments, and AC are offered. Part of the proceeds are being donated to the library.

Author Shelley Antilla will be at the Kelley House Museum, Albion Street, Mendocino, for a booksigning of her new book, "Photographers' Vintage Treasures and the People Who Wore Them (and Vintage Clothing Price Guide)," on July 5th, 3:00-5:00 pm.  A small discussion on how her book came about, plus time for Q/A is offered.  Part of the proceeds are being donated to the museum.
